AND WE HAVE FRONT ROW SEATS
Mother and daughter Shirley Struk and Deanne Bond could be considered Sydney’s accidental restaurateurs. However, persistence, patience and pragmatism have seen this hard-working duo turn a derelict beachfront building into an award-winning eatery, popular with tourists and locals alike.
Established in 2000 by Maroubra mother and daughter team Shirley & Deanne - ‘ We do what we love and we love what we do – as they say ‘Life’s a Beach’.
It was originally known as Pavilion Café – after undertaking an extensive renovation in 2005 it re-opened as Pavilion Beachfront, a fully licensed restaurant and kiosk, unique with its wonderful uninterrupted scenic beach views.
Over the years the Pavilion Beachfront has won and been nominated in various ‘Awards for Excellence’ including winner of Randwick City Business Award; finalist Australia Post NSW/ACT Small Business Award & winner of the prestigious Best Breakfast Restaurant & Catering Metropolitan Awards.
